Greater King George Soccer Club – Return to Play Protocol
Action Plan for COVID 19
We start moving from this horrible pandemic, Covid -19, however, we must understand that this virus is still among us and doctors are saying that there might be a second wave of the virus hitting us this fall. GKGSC knows that as a soccer community if we work together to implement the following guidelines, then the impact of the 2nd wave of the Covid-19 will have a less effect on us.
The GKGSC has created a Return to Play Protocol that follows state and national health guidelines along with numerous medical sources, which will allow players (young & old) to safely resume soccer activities. However, we understand returning to play is an individual’s choice and GKGSC respects your decision on when is the right time for your child or adult players to participate.
Implementing GKGSC Return to Play Protocol will require a collaborative effort among coaches, parents and players. Each of us must be diligent at enforcing and following these guidelines for the health and safety of our players, coaches, staff and communities.
We understand that players enjoy interacting with their teammates, but it is imperative that every player understands, adheres to, and respects the social distancing requirements and no-contact guidelines that have been established. Please take the time to read through each of the following documents provided so you have a full understanding of expectations going forward.
